Infrastructure

Infrastructure construction refers to underground parking facilities, tunnels, road tunnels and metro stations. Sprinkler systems in such locations are subject to special requirements, such as mounting in rock. Firecon has extensive experience in the execution of similar projects.

Our most extensive infrastructure project to date are the 8 stations of the westbound metro line that were commissioned towards the end of autumn 2017.

There was a pronounced major need for installation resources during the westbound extension of the metro line, as all the stations were constructed at the same time.

Another major infrastructure project was the 2.30 km Tampere shore route tunnel on Highway 12. The tunnel was fitted with special nozzles over its entire length.
